Our story and history
In 2009, Mathews resident Rosemary Griffith and her Real Goods partner Rob Acosta-Lewis had an idea. Virginia has so much to offer: Artisans making the very best foods, winemakers making wines catching everyone’s attention, farmers and craftsmen with unbelievable products and stories to tell. So Real Goods was born -- and we love it!
Rosemary has spent countless hours searching for products and traveling around Virginia to meet the farmers and producers, learn their stories and bring it all to Mathews. We want to make available to you delicious and fresh sustainably grown foods, to support local farmers and artisans and to have you join those of us who believe that by doing so we are growing a better community and place to live.
